I couldn't make the play off final and never been to Wembley. How does ticket allocation work - is it random seating or can you buy different types of seating?
would be a pain in the arse for trapezzing around london too.. oi somalian, i need to cross this road to get t wembley?
Peeps, lets not start with the squabbling about who should get priority tickets. Some passholders go to all games, some to league games only and some only have the pass for the PL. Let's just enjoy the moment and I'm pretty sure there will be enough tickets for everyone. I'm sure (given the prices of Wembley tickets) that with us being drawn against Sheff Utd some will forfeit the semi-final as see it as a sure thing, and save their pennies for the final. Personally I'm hoping for 2 trips. Can't really afford it but "have plastic, willl travel"! Or maybe I should save it for a european adventure next season............. Dare To Dream
30,000 tickets will be enough to give a ticket to every pass holder and everyone who has attended a cup game this season. If you are not one of those people then you can't really complain, the people who have supported the team this season deserve the tickets.
Nobody is really squabbling. I was only suggesting some sort of order. Either way I hope they don't rush it and just randomly release all the tickets to application and draw us all out of a hat, that would be crazy. They've got a few days to decide how they want to categorise the tickets to satisfy as many fans as possible. The semi-final is a funny one actually. Some may expect us to do Sheff Utd and sacrifice going to instead go to the final. Others may not want to risk it and attend both. I'm hoping to attend both.
Those who did Southend and Brighton away will get first dibs, then those that did Brighton and Sunderland at home, then pass holders, then any remaining tickets will go on general sale(if there are any).
Ash Lord has a list of all those who went to Southend and Brighton, they will get priority, the rest is just common sense.
When it says Southend "and" Brighton. Do you mean both? Or one of? And whilst they would seem fair, can't really see it happening. It'll be pass holders first. Especially because Brighton (away) was pay on the gate.
Eh? Why? So an expat who does Sarfend and Brighton cos he lives round the corner gets first dibs over a season pass holder!!! **** that season pass holders first, look after your core support. Even if some of them dont deserve it.
Let's face it there will be enough tickets for everyone who attended a cup game and every pass holder, how they get allocated isn't too important as long as all of those people get tickets before they go on general sale.
