Reds fan in peace.....just seen it on MOTD and frankly it's handbags but managers can't do that end of. Anymore than 4 or 5 games would be harsh though but I sense the witchhunt has begun. I do think he should be ashamed though.....if I'd butted someone that weakly I'd be disgusted with myself :grin:
 
Pathetic from pardew. But nothing a bit of censure, a fine and a touchline ban can't deal with. Savage saying he ought to be sacked is just ridiculous

Actually I reckon motd and the media are going overboard on this one. Pardew shouldn't have done it, but it was hardly cage fighting. And fat mike is 100k in profit!
 
Hanson, Savage and Lineker the BBC's finest, Pardew has been censured and fined £100,000 by NUFC, £100k for him is a big deal as I believe he is on £800k, the fabulous Greg Dyke, a serial quango appointee, has stated that the fa will investigate and the media circus is in full swing.

Just to put all the fuss into context, a young man who with one punch knocked another man down and killed him got 4 years in prison, perceived wisdom is that he will be out in 2 years, a couple who kidknapped and robbed a paraplegic of £6 got 4 and 6 years in prison.

Pardew should have been clever enough not to react, he did and it's costing him in a number of ways, as for the trio on MOTD they could do with getting a grip on themselves, the only one who has had a calm and sensible reaction to this today has been Steve Bruce.

Keys a washed up sexist bellend who is constantly embarrassing himself and Merson a raging alcoholic ,toot heed who cried on national TV.Pardew was stupid and embarrassed our club but these two clowns should shut the **** up.Ban and fine Pardew and move on.

He should be sacked for that. If you or me had done that against someone in front of thousands of people we would be arrested and up in font of the beak before we knew it...
