What happened with Meyler? Pardew must have said something bad to get that reaction but regardless, Meyler was very lucky to stay on the pitch for it!

Didn't have a good view mate but saw him move over and Meyler respond to something he'd done!
 
Meyler went to get the ball, Pardew blocked him so Meyler nudged him out the way, pardew got pissed off and they went head to head, Pardew headbutted him pretty hard. I sit 5m from where it happened and Pardew was entirely at fault, Meyler did not deserve the booking at all

Meyler wanted the ball quickly for the throw. Pardew was between Meyler and the ball. They collided. Pardew didn't take kindly to it and squared up to Meyler (simulated head butt) and then Meyler pushed Pardew away. Then it all kicked off.

Meyler had just been head butted by the opposition manager. I think he's entitled to push him away!
 
You're not allowed to react. End of. Didn't realise Pardew had done that! Looks pretty damning. The man's a scummer.
 
That really wasn't a simulated headbutt. He nutted Meyler like a mad bastard.

I can see why Meyler was booked you can't push someone no matter what they do to you.

Pardew is a s**t, but he certainly got the better of us today.
