Because we were talking about the league performance for Spurs and Liverpool for most of this thread. To scared that one injured LFC player outscored 5-6 injured Spurs player?
Not because you've not played in Europe this season, so you'd have nothing to compare it to, then? Sturridge missed a few games and hasn't had to compete for his place in a league that he's always played in. Trying to compare him to players that've missed most of the season after joining from foreign leagues is nearly as ludicrous as your spending argument, which you swiftly ran away from. Torres has scored for Chelsea against Galatasaray, by the way. Is he on loan, as we all know that you'd never sell a player like that.
Sturridge doesnt need to compete, he is the best out and out striker in this league and for England this season! Sturridge has scored 18 league goals, while 25 Spurs players scored 30 goals between them (excluding penalties) Wow the Spurs team are cr*p. They are only going to finish 5th place ahead of United because of dodgy penalites.
he will ask who Galatassaray are, probably never heard of them as they have been out of europe so long
Sturridge isn't even the best striker in your team. Nice of you to exclude penalties from your stats though, as we all saw how he did with his recently. Quite amusing that you've brought up dodgy pens though, as you've had 50% more than us in the league this season and have been awarded more than any other side in Premier League history overall. Someone should tell Tiziano Crudeli.
The Danish boss is weighing in, asking why Eriksen has suddenly been dropped: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...oach-who-says-he-ticks-all-boxes-9154015.html
Saving him for the big Dnipro home tie maybe? Dropping him again for Cardiff. I will literally cry if i'm right
Yes, we're not exactly overloaded in the midfield creativity dept, are we? If he's fit, then he should be an automatic selection for me.
Having endured our last two performances, Holtby's loan is yet another example of whay Tim Sherwood shouldn;t be allowed to have any say in player loans (see also: Ryan Mason to Lorient, Tomislav Gomelt to Royal Antwerp reserves)
Tommy would've needed to have been registered now as he's over 21, would we have had enough space to fit him in? We must be near if not already at the allocated squad registration amount I'd say.
Carroll turns 22 at the end of the season, so would've fit in with the U21 criteria by a whisker (unlike Ryan Mason, who is 22)
