To be fair, we united fans were always going to comment on something with this thread title, the reason it turned into a 'stevie g's worse thread' would be the 2nd post in the thread, from kpr. I'm not defending the diving or the elbow, but it's not as if we're not going to react with gerrard videos is it?

And it is just a thread, a discussion not an attack on UNited fans, the ref to idiots are the blind ones that see notyhng wrong with the elbow and playacting.

The hypocracy of the Stevie appreciation thread when United have wayne in their squad and they only compound it by coming on here on this thread and comparing to Gerrard. I just levelled the field, but we know a lot of Mancs can't stand even a level pegging on a forum with Liverpool never mind the league. A lot of em are ok though, just the extreme numpties with emotional difficulites:)

I think everyone is getting tired of a lot of threads turing into the same old debates.

I came here waaaaay after the steven gerrard thread was made and haven't read it tbh, and i don't really see the point. The fact is every team has a player who is an easy target for opposing fans and there's always going to be times when people abuse and degrade them. Thus, the other fans will defend them when undefendable, and when this happens they will just come back with the other teams easy target.

Typical Man United fans logic.
Rooney won't be Liverpool fans easy target at Anfield this season coming.He may get off lightly.Most of the venom will be aimed at Ryan Giggs.He won't need to give a sample at Anfield,because the KOP are going to take the piss out of him.He won't have to provide one,at the Emirates,Eastlands or Stamford Bridge either,as they will also take the piss out of him...thats if he's not in prison by then.

I only thought i'd mention that you suggested that gerrard never said he didn't dive, when he is quoted saying he hates it. And yes, giggsy will be targeted by opposing fans, and i'm not sure what your point is?

Also, I noticed I put up evidence, the start of the Stevie thread is just abuse from united fans about accent ect ect, he's a scdrote ect, none of that superficial sheite here, it is about on the pitch football, no grannies or anything, thats the difference, you, the individual and others like you are scum bile haters, we are supporters!!

I wanted to view and discuss waynes antics, not slag him for this and that, big big difference matey, and I managed to not sum all of this up with eughhh crap, numpty blah blah

Fair kop, I will say, after all the recent things about that particualr subject the henderson stuff and all the arguments since we have been trying to clean all of that up, I made one yesterday or day before and immediately put up a retraction and round about apology:) We are trying to keep this from turning into a slugging slagfest, of which it has at times decended into.

my thread is a fair one as Wayne's behaviour on the pitch has been questionable at times, and the main instigator for this thread was UNited fans consistently calling Steven Gerrard a diver. We agree he dives but I don't agree he dives as much as Wayne Rooney, note I am not mentioning the myriad other divers United have had past and present, it is Wayne Rooney Portrait of a diver as I am painting him that way, hence the title, if you want to dispute that I am more than welcome to debate it, but all else is off topic and is a byproduct of not having a strong case for the against view. If you dont like it but cannot argue his defence then you should bite your toung and shut up, not you yourself Eric but in general I mean
