To be fair, we united fans were always going to comment on something with this thread title, the reason it turned into a 'stevie g's worse thread' would be the 2nd post in the thread, from kpr. I'm not defending the diving or the elbow, but it's not as if we're not going to react with gerrard videos is it?
And it is just a thread, a discussion not an attack on UNited fans, the ref to idiots are the blind ones that see notyhng wrong with the elbow and playacting. The hypocracy of the Stevie appreciation thread when United have wayne in their squad and they only compound it by coming on here on this thread and comparing to Gerrard. I just levelled the field, but we know a lot of Mancs can't stand even a level pegging on a forum with Liverpool never mind the league. A lot of em are ok though, just the extreme numpties with emotional difficulites I think everyone is getting tired of a lot of threads turing into the same old debates.
I came here waaaaay after the steven gerrard thread was made and haven't read it tbh, and i don't really see the point. The fact is every team has a player who is an easy target for opposing fans and there's always going to be times when people abuse and degrade them. Thus, the other fans will defend them when undefendable, and when this happens they will just come back with the other teams easy target.

We agree he dives but I don't agree he dives as much as Wayne Rooney, note I am not mentioning the myriad other divers United have had past and present, it is Wayne Rooney Portrait of a diver as I am painting him that way, hence the title, if you want to dispute that I am more than welcome to debate it, but all else is off topic and is a byproduct of not having a strong case for the against view.
