We can't be fussy. We might never have a chance to play in Europe again. Without wanting to sounds negative there's a strong possibility we'll get relegated next year so we really should be desperate to take any opportunity to get into Europe. It'd be amazing to see City play in Europe. Imagine thousands of us piling on the ferry to go to Holland/Belgium. It'd be ace.

What a load of Tosh

It sounds like you're jealous Dan Kelly. Just because the only ferry you've been on is the one to Tazzy. :D

I have to say I'd love to see us playing in Europe...I've mate who's a Middlesbrough fan and he the time of his life following them on their two jaunts in the EUFA Cup. To be fair it'd be amazing to see us in an FA cup semi-final never mind the final or Europe.

People seem to be forgetting the only man who Allam seems to listen to, Steve Bruce, will let him know otherwise.
Bruce has been successful so far in terms of transfers since he arrived, I have faith.

Dont worry about that. Steve Bruce knows how to handle Dr Allam. SB knows what he needs and he will get them in the summer.

No, you're on the right side of that by my maths, for the first 2 season monitoring period, you blew £36.8m which falls under the 45m Euro limit.

As for the competition itself, at the risk of sounding patronising, surely you'd love to have a pop at European competition? We enjoyed our first few attempts at the UEFA, but I have to admit that now, personally, I'd rather we miss out this season. But that's largely because of the Sunday league fixtures & the fact that we've seen & done it a few times.

Correct Tobes. We dont have any issue with FFP if we make it to the europa league. Some muppets on radio humberside last night after the gamne were saying we would not be allowed and Matt Dean read them out ffs. Unbelievable and lazy comments.

Roadblocks on Hedon Rd.

Humbs Police advising people not to travel.

Snarling dogs on king George Dock.

All drink confiscated and sniffer dogs deployed.

Try flying. That wont be a problem. Lol.

SWFC got 25 000 for their game tonight.....

Yep and the Wendies messed it up big time. So the Sheffield derby if OFF OFF OFF.!!!

And why did some cretins run on the pitch at full time?

They wont be doing it again for a while thankfully. Idiot fans.

Agreed, I would rather not make Europe and focus on consolidating in the PL. Even teams like Liverpool try to avoid Europa.

Liverpool want the CL but for Hull City the europa league would be massive.

I completely agree. Just one (very winnable) game away from an FA Cup Semi Final appearance at Wembley. Personally I'm very excited by this prospect.

Didn't seem to worry the little girl who telly showed crashed out on her seat in the last twenty minutes of the match. Glad to see the East Stand kept the CTWD and "WE say no Allam" going. Keep the pressure on the old twat.

You may not remember, as it happened when we in the bottom division, but Stuart Blampey will, some clown reckoned his twins were traumatised and unable to sleep when people came on the pitch after the last home match to celebrate promotion.

What's that got to do with this incident?

Four chavvy little dickheads decide to show off in front of their mates and get made to look like a bunch of tits.

That's what it was.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Move on, nothing to see here.

What it has to do with this incident is the way the stewards enforce some regulations but not others.
Also, we ha e seen away fans come on the pitch without been ejected. In any case in this instance these fans weren't going on the pitch to cause trouble, they were celebrating. This happens at a lot of grounds with no fuss.
No wonder the atmosphere is crap at our ground. No doubt you think everyone shpuld remain firmly in their seats at all times and applaud politely when either team score.

The silly bastards were walking out of the ground ( before the final whistle had gone) and by chance were near the South East corner when the ref blew.

They then ran on the pitch and acted like proper bellends.

People who leave before the final whistle, regardless of the score, get on my tits at the best of times.

If they were that intent on celebrating why were they walking out of the ground whilst the game was still ongoing?

Not sure how you can try to defend them being the super fan you claim to be.

As for applauding politely and sitting down at all times.

<laugh>

Don't talk like a ****, you haven't the faintest idea.

You need to stop being so naive and wise up a bit, then you might be able to recognise when a bunch of silly little boys are playing up in front of their mates and not make a fool out of yourself by defending them.

I do agree with your point about people walking out. I have a season ticket in E11 and it is embarrassing watching them leave no matter the state of the game. I have mentioned before the contrast at Norwich and Place where they are behind them to the end, winning losing or drawing, and most are there to acknowledge the players and celebrate if they have won. By the time our players have shook hands areas of the ground are empty.

Point is these lads didn't do any harm. But they will get a ban. Millwall and Cardiff fans ripped up seats and no one ended up getting banned apart from Millwall fan and he was nicked by the plod in London. 4 bans for being a bit daft 1 for mayhem. Strange priorities.

I see your point and agree that it is unbalanced.

Massively so.

Still think the four clowns last night over stepped the mark.

Celebrating is one thing but everyone knows that running onto the playing area is a big no no.

A full on FBO, which no doubt they'll get, is overly harsh for a few hair growing young kids getting unexpected hard ons and going a bit nutty in their unexpected arousal.

Best thing to do would be to take them behind the scenes and have big Abdoulaye get them across his knee and paddle their bottoms whilst telling them how naughty they've been, before takin their fingerprints and DNA samples and telling them if they do it again there'll be big trouble, and pass the message on to their other adolescent friends.

A 3 year stadium ban is far too heavy handed in my humble opinion.

Are these the same thousands that didn't bother turning up last night for the Brighton replay??

No, probably the same 10,000 who did. Plus myself, who couldn't be arsed to make the 230 mile trip for a silly pointless cup match against a lower league side.

I know I could sound picky but what these kids were doing last night was mindless. I was stood next to the first as I was sat in E10 and he said 'lets do this to get on tv'. The picture was a celebration of promotion not kids doing it for the sake of it

Why do normals hate exuberent final whistle pitch invasions so much?

They made the Watford and Cardiff home games even more memorable and I hope to see another when we beat the Mackems and book our next trip to Wembley.
