Or maybe the population of Norwich are richer than most people in Hull.
And maybe they aren't.

. While i post links to councillors saying the Fair will not move. You provide nothing to back it up. Therefore bollocks. You seem as though you work at council, pretty high up?? Well heres an idea advise Brady to do a full page spread in the HDM we are open for business Mr Allam the Fair will be moved etc etc we desperately want investment/development in the area!!
Nah wont happen.
It's not that much smaller, only 30k. If you take out the 2 egg chasing teams fans they have a 10k pot of fewer fans than us.
City population Hull 256,000 Norwich 140,000, urban population Hull 573,000 Norwich 213,000.
Subtraction not your strong point?
The population of East Yorkshire is more than that of Norfolk. The fact we have a couple of eggchasing teams is irrelevant. The fact is with the exception of a few seasons our crowds have always been poor for a city of our size.

Found this from the HDM . http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Coun...ium-comments/story-13461697-detail/story.html
Aha thanks for the link.
So, if you believe an article that starts with "The HDM understands..." lets look a little closer.
1. There is clearly a plan around the name change, that will bring in more revenue, and it not just linked to a spat with HCC. Thanks for suggesting otherwise CTWD.
2. They've looked at CTWDs suggestions for increasing revenue and aren't convinced selling more pies will help. Well duh.
3. If we don't have a name change, and don't get the new revenue streams, the club still needs money from somewhere, Season Tickets are being looked at, but it's stated this isn't a great idea, which makes perfectly good sense.
4. The club is currently in good hands, being run by people who are doing everything they can to increase our income and give the club a strong and sustainable future.
I don't believe the Allam family have ever refuted one word of this statement, nor has TG ever withdrawn one word of his open and (it would seem) honest view of the meeting. This may be an interview that HCC would rather have drifted into obscurity, but it can't be ignored when taken into context of everything that followed. The intention of AA was never to make a gift to the people of Hull, it was simply to feather his own nest, just as it still is e made a big error of judgment.
****ing hell Fez of course he wanted the freehold he's always stated that. what about TG's quotes the KC wasnt ever for sale or The Fair is never going to be moved. And FFS again the "gift" was saving the club and wanting to give premier league football. Of course he wants to make money, he's a businessman. Remember Adam Pearsons quote, what he did was unbelievable it literally made no sense, we were ****ed.
Isn't his "gift" in direct contradiction to "he wants to make money, he's a businessman".
I think someone should do a two page spread in the HDM with the headline Allam: STOP BEEN ****.
Are you really that obtuse.
But you are right in that what he did made no sense, especially as he is a businessman who wants to make money, so why did he do it unless he saw it as a long term vehicle for making money? If the club progresses and he makes money, fine, no problem from me, but I don't think he bought it when he did and in the manner he did just to please Hull City fans.
Of course not but i do think it went hand in hand, wanting to give something back to his adopted City while pursuing a brilliant/deluded dream to get City in the premier league and make some money out of it.
Where are all the other entrepeneurs in Hull who could have done it. We've been waiting 30/40 years for them. Adam Pearson never found them and he definitely looked.
Tigerair based in Singapore would be a possibility, although I can't see why any of these companies would insist on a name change when we are already "The Tigers" with a tiger badge.
Agree about the lack of entrepeneurs and I am genuinely grateful to AA for rescuing the club, I'm just not as sure that he wanted to make a gift. That suggests he wants nothing in return when he quite clearly does, and as stated earlier I have nothing aganst that. I'm just suggesting that the way he bought the club, making no sense at all, was done in a way that as a businessman he thought was the best way of seeing a personal return.Of course not but i do think it went hand in hand, wanting to give something back to his adopted City while pursuing a brilliant/deluded dream to get City in the premier league and make some money out of it.

There is Tiger balm. Lots of athletes use it. Good for muscle strains/aches etc. I have a tub of it in my cupboard. Chinese connections with it I believe.
Careful now - isn't the tin red?
