dots not pics

Can anyone help please - quite often when someone posts a pic I only get dots - what settings do I need to change?

It's not you, it's the site, it seems to being having some issues with images and it seems to get worse if you access the site via a phone.

Sometimes quoting the post will show them up, other times if you really want to see the image reply to the post and just copy the link and paste it into another tab. Like OLM says its nowt you're doing wrong.

I had this problem for the first time recently, I noticed it had put the swear filter on so i turned it off and the pictures then appeared.

I've never seen this on the Android app or on my laptop using Chrome. It could be something that only affects certain browsers? Has anyone else noticed it in Chrome or in the Android app?
