    Begovic isn't a significant upgrade on Boruc and he won't want to be 2nd choice.

    He is really good, but I think that if we replace Boruc it has to be someone of a different class. Boruc will also leave if he's not first choice.

    Just a thought about the off-topic thread title. Beefys was renamed to Cortese's whilst we were all in shock at the sudden departure.
    Now the dust has settled and with due respect to Beefy, I couldn't help but wonder whether we ought to name the thread in honour of Markus Liebherr. Cortese was a vital part of our resurgence but ML never quit on us.
    Just a thought.

    Yeah, the thought crossed my mind too. I also thought we could have a different name for each edition. Say, like Cork's Corner or Schneiderlin's Corner, or Les Reed's Corner, or Katerina's Corner. Or even De Ridder's Corner..! People could occasionally pop up with suggestions once we neared 1000 posts.

    How about that..?
