No worries, $2m ain't much in the grand scheme. The only downside is that, by going into peace mode, we won't be able to get you attacking random unaligned nations for a few days.

Rat bastard that he is, Mikey decided to start in peace mode, which means that no one can declare on him.

However, we'll probably get you raiding people pretty quickly. Raiding is the rather dickish practice of attacking worse-off nations that aren't a part of an alliance, stealing their money and technology simply because you can. It's also a good intro to what passes for a war system.
 
I must learn to read slower ...I read that Elaine Page has come out, but re read it again and it's Ellen page that has come out..( whoever she is).

Just paid £450 for the last round of repairs. Another 3 went last night...would give up for a while, but one loose panel is pulling at the new section. Have to call the man out Monday. However, there has been a lot of flooding and damage on the Island, so I think I got off lightly. The sea flooded Cowes so no access to ferries (which had stopped anyway).

Seems like there might be some mild flooding down here in Brighton at the Sea Life Centre. Well, I guess if you're going to flood anywhere.....

Heh, purple team (though it doesn't matter terribly much), start in war mode, start in Defcon 5/Low threat. Once you've done that, go to the left hand side to 'edit my nation', select that, and where it says 'Alliance Affiliation', go to specify other and put in Sengoku.

Edit: also go with democracy, monarchy or capitalism for government. And while it's hardly required, I'd recommend setting your currency to Dongs, because who doesn't want to pay for things with Dongs.
