The eyes will give me nightmares but I love the hair. Does this mean that we can take off our Cortese-mourning avatars now?

Good point, 3 wins and 3 draws. Sorry Laura, you're gonna have to stay miserable for a little while longer.

She's been out for a while with a wrist injury, so I'd love to claim credit for it.

Same, I'm not really one affected by sob stories (a.k.a. I am a heartless bastard), but for some reason I'm really really gutted for him, perhaps it's just because he looks so happy.

Hope Everton see it and sort something out for him to see another game.

Everton did see it, they took him in to meet Martinez and the squad.

Just been listening to the report on the foul weather this evening. I do feel sorry for people who live elsewhere in UK. In Southampton it is wet, and the winds are a wee bit gusty. But that's it. Hang on, I'll pop my head out the front door...

Light winds, with the odd gust, broken cloud and I saw a few stars peeping out of the large clear patches.

I tell you, if you're going to live anywhere in the country, for fairly stable weather, this is the place to be.

Nah, it gets windier there than it does here. That'll always be the case if you're near the coast. It's got to be the sunniest part of the UK on average, but I think London is ever so slightly warmer on average thanks to the couple of degrees it gains from all the traffic and people.

It took me a while to remember that it was called off. When I realised I burst out laughing, followed by "aww". Why doesn't he support Man Utd?! Oh...

Windier than St Albans..? Surely you have to be kidding. :) We are several miles in from the coast, tucked into the Test Valley, plus we have the IOW protecting us.

Indeed, London vies for being one the warmest on average cities in the UK due to it being a heat island. Highest true average annual temperatures tend to occur in Cornwall. Scilly Isles is the mildest area in the country.

St Albans and the surrounding area is at a low altitude and very flat. I always notice it gets a bit windier when I go down to Southampton.

Last weekend I was in Nottingham. Now that's what I call windy.

    Ooh Dear..!

I was stuck overnight on the top of Ben Fell, in the Lake District, once, when I used to do a bit of fell walking. Jeez, that was cold, and it wasn't even winter. I have since been colder, but there is a singular feeling of cold dread when you can't put one foot in front of the other for fear of going over the edge of some precipice.
