We're really short at the back at the minute. Would we throw young Kebbie in? Could we recall Townsend for this game and send him back out while the loan window is still open?

A mate of mine played against Kebbe on Saturday and said he was ****e.

North Cave played City in the local cup and City won 4-1 thanks to a brilliant second half display by Johnny Margetts.

He said he was quick, but useless otherwise and he was nowhere near good enough to get in the Cave first team, never mind the City one.
 
Brucey must start with Aluko to give him some game time, can see him starting and getting 60-70 mins

Centre mid Meyler and Quinn for me
 
Slightly off topic from the squad, but apparently our old friend Jimmy Bullard is doing something for BT Sport in regards to the Brighton game.

I think Livermore will play some part - he might well start. Same too Meyler.

No, he's on a season long loan so the only way we could recall him outside a transfer window is if we had a ridiculous injury crisis. (we'd need to be down to about 12 fit players)

Bruce will play his normal cup team but it is actually now stronger with Aluko and Brady ready for a start. Ok the defence has taken a big hit of late (hence why Davies wont start) but we can still put out Bruce jnr - Faye - Figueroa in a back 3. Five in midfield of Koren - Aluko - Boyd - Quinn and Brady with Fryatt and Sagbo up front and that should be more than good enough to beat Brighton.

I would have CJM, Henderson and Wilson on the bench along with McGregor - Davies-Livermore & Meyler or Elmo.

Peter Taylor could well be doing the Swanny role with Burnsy on monday for those who will not be going.

Only from the bench. Surely We need to keep our main players away from possible injury.

NB. Is not Townsend injured at the moment ? Got an ankle injury the first week he was back @ Carlisle. Have not seen him in the listings of late. Also Missed Carlisle's 1-0 home win over Bradford on tuesday night.
