The Moroccan Messi scored a decent goal on his debut for Milan, putting his new club 1-0 up against Rafa Benitez's Napoli after 8 minutes.

Didn't last though, as they went on to lose 3-1, with Arsenal's Gonzalo Higuaín netting twice, resulting in Mario Balotelli crying on the bench having been subbed off.

Just seen Utd's starting lineup. I think they'll batter Fulham, unfortunately.
On the plus side, it might make them gee up a bit and nick something from the Goons midweek.

Rooney, Mata and Rvp all love facing the goons so even with Utd suffering, I'm going for a Utd win or at least a draw.

Moyes bemoaned the refs and bad luck today in their program:

Getting his excuses in early, I guess.

Is that Holtby the waste of space who can't cut it at premier league level.

Yep, that's the one. Currently doing a lot of running about, but Fulham haven't had much of the ball.
Great pass the the goal, though.

A depressed United fan: Losing to Fulham at home. Life doesn't get worse than this

.......

LOL

It looks like just a matter of time before Utd score. Having said that, Richardson should have mDe it 2-0.

I 'll be interested to see how Holtby does given regular game time. Maybe Fulham is not the right place to try and showcase his talents, however!

Fulham were obviously upset at only being 1-0 up at HT, so they've brought on Darren Bent for Tankovic to give Utd a chance.

Stat from the first half:
Crosses: Man Utd: 46, Fulham: 1. <laugh>

Bent's introduction has seen Fulham camped in their own box since HT, effectively playing with 10 men.
