Pellegrini is getting as bad as Mancini for fiddling with team selection. Wtf did he start Jovetic instead of Dzeko today? And why is Clichy suddenly back in favour ahead of Kolarov? Neither of them are that great defensively but I thought Kolarov at least offers a lot more going forward. Arsenal and £ity are just giving the title to the Chavs on a plate.
Meanwhile, over on the Gooners' board, PESKIE has just had a pop at Skylarker, accusing the Mousers of being too quick to ban posters engage in a bit of banter when 'Pool lose. Pot...kettle...black... You couldn't make it up!
Apparently he uses Clichy if they're up against a speedy right winger, Kolarov is paceless and vacates RB quite a lot, and Fernandinho seems wise to it and covers him. I picked that up the other week off one of the City fans who posted here.
Well I guess that makes some kind of sense then, with Fernandinho out injured at the moment. More sense than him eventually putting Kolarov on as a replacement for Negredo anyway...
All strikers 'good runs' come to an abrupt end, just the way it is, shame it didn't happen one game earlier!
A Manchester City fan became so angry with his team's performance during the goalless draw with Norwich, he switched allegiances to Chelsea. (Source: Sunday Star) Then he wasn't really a £ity fan, was he, you twats! He was a plastic, like most £ity fans are, these days. And by switching to Chavs he's joined another set of plastics.
It's not very nice to laugh at a man who trips over, who by his own admission is visually impaired. He may not have seen the change in floor covering. I'm surprised the plod didn't book him for diving though, nobody touched him. I wonder why they wouldn't let him on the team bus?
He probably couldn't look at them without crying? BTW, quiet night on Arsenal board . Turned into another night of the long knives, although hae to say Kyle (or Hans for those who have read him) seems a troubled man. Shame cause he could be quite funny at times.
They had a shocker. It happens. I suspect this together with the appearance of a warm sunny day in February is the real cause of the panic.
we're massively struggled this season against the teams towards the top. Like you say, a must win. Then it's 4 points out of 6 we've taken from Everton. We simply cannot afford another bad result against one of our rivals.
As you say judging by our performances so far we have little reason to expect much from today. Yet we do because we live in hope that the talent we have in the squad will blossom, come together and give someone a good hiding. Much like Liverpool have done this season and that I think we could see coming towards the end of last season as their team started to come together. Some time this season we will click, let's hope it's today.
The important thing is the psychological effect, regardless of the manner of the performance. Win today, and you are saying, regardless of the manner of the results yesterday, the Scousers are still only 3 pts ahead of "poor" / "small club" Spurs. And the current leaders 9 pts. And just as those may believe the "luck will run out" etc, they will also have to consider that if they cannot escape Spurs during the poor play, God help them if the on-paper ability of the squad fires up on the run-in.
It is chillingly quiet over on the Gooners' board. I'm quite worried. Yesterday, I joked about some of them hanging themselves; I didn't think it would be all of them.
