Why was you surprised to see about 80% of our support gone before the final whistle for? we wasn't in the game pal.
No offence lad but if you were there with your son and someone said that to you what would you do!? I know what I would.
That's fair enough lad, but things are changing and it seems to be the way of the modern game. TBH I hear more swearing at juniour football than from the terraces in the professional game.
The way the modern game is going then fans like me will stop going mate. they be banning people for farting to loud next
There's 3 worse teams then both of us. Well I reckon there is. It's still February and we've both got a shocking run of fixtures to come, so you never know what's going to happen. Whether you like it or not, the Bruce factor does add to the match between safc & hcafc. For that I want a repeat next season. Again, good luck in the final.
I understand that McShane was prone to making howlers when he was with you, but he was a kid of 21 or 22 for ****'s sake. Can't you get your head around the fact that he's improved beyond recognition, especially in the last year or two? After being farmed out on loan here and there from us after our first spell in the PL between 2008 and 2010, he came back and re-invented himself last season and he's continued that form, even as we've stepped up to the top flight. The lad just keeps answering his critics and doubters by performing well on a very consistent basis. For that reason he's become something of a cult hero, and rightly so. I went onto a few of your message boards today and the amount of people slating McShane was matched only by the number of people lauding Wes Brown for being a "class act", "always looking in control"..... how ironic it was to see him commit the kind of howler that you still associate with Paul McShane, after just three minutes of the game. Anyway, good luck against Man City in the final.
Have to agree with you Joe, this was a very good performance from Hull ..... if it was even numbers it would've been a great performance. Now we'll never know ...... shame, it could've been an interesting game. As I've been saying, we weren't safe when we destroyed Newcastle and we aren't doomed after yesterday. We're out of the bottom three which is a miracle after having 1 point all that time. Man City couldn't beat Norwich so let's hope we can get a result or even do the double over them
Hull could only beat what was in front of them, to be honest they should of been out of sight at half time with Long & Jelavic hitting the posts. Well impressed with Long like, those signings will keep Hull up. Wish we had the wonga to buy Long, cannot for the life of me understand why West Brom let him go.
True but Long has been quite consistent I think since being in the PL, will always get 10 goals per season and work hard, £7M was a very fair price considering we paid £12-14M for Fletcher.
I thought Long was a rip off, that said it was when the papers were reporting he was in the last 6 months of his contract (Thanks press for making me look a mug) but turns out he actually had a year and half so top signing. Never rated Jelavić myself.
I've just seen a Hull comment, on here, about our shame regarding the attendance .......... it was twice Hull's lowest Premier League crowd this season. Hull even couldn't sell their allocation yesterday. No offence to Hull but some of the comments are so infantile, I'm surprised they've not been taken out to feed the ducks this morning.
