I can't see madrid going for him yet, he has more to prove before he can get a job of that calibre.

just to make sure I never get any "REP POWER" how about if MP leaves (and I guess he'll take his background boys with him) the only people who'll have learned from him are the players - so make Adam player manager!

My shortlist for his potential replacement:

Marcelo Bielsa
Jorge Sampaoli
Gerardo Martino
Michael Laudrup
Antonio Conte

If we can't have any of those, I suggest Katharina ties Mauricio to his office chair and forces him to make good managerial decisions at gunpoint.

Martino isn't that good.

because he seems to have completely lost interest at Swansea

I'm not sure how you've deduced that, but you can hardly blame him for their disappointing season. They were overperforming before and were bound to fade if they didn't invest enough. No manager could get that squad any higher than 10th. Most would struggle near the bottom.

but that's the whole point of a manager - to make the players "over achieve" (or play better) and he hasn't done it as well as Rodgers. Take Fergie vs. Moyes with the same team. Pulis at Crystal Palce, even Gus Poyet at Sunderland. We beat Fulham away this year with basically the same team as last year - down to "over achieving" All sport is down to confidence more than inate skill. I don't want Laudrup!

He hasn't done what as well as Rodgers? His first season was a noticeble improvement on Rodgers' last.
