Surely ashley only hired him to take some heat. Joe really thought he was going to come in and build a world class team!!! Bye now

My first thoughts on the week that we sold Yohan Cabaye, lost 3-0 at home to the mackems and Joe Kinnear resigned as director of football......

the positives outweigh the negatives!!!

Damn why did he quit he was doing a great job for Sunderland.............sorry what..........nooo you are kidding.........jesus I can't believe it.............erm wow I actually just found out Newcastle were paying him all along to make their side better, sorry about that I thought Sunderland must of paid him for his work.....weird!!

Incredible, beautiful news if there's no horrible sting in the tail. Part of me hoped the derby defeat would at least be a positive catalyst for doing something like this.

I just wonder whether Pardew has turned around and said Joe goes or I go. I really felt he was set to walk after this week and I think the derby defeat was too much.

Mike's probably taken the easier option knowing getting another manager in would be a hassle. Remember he tried to coax Keegan back unsuccessfully when he ran because of Dennis Wise.

Perhaps this was the cheapest, easier option and Joe was happy enough to skulk off with a tidy cash handshake.

Why oh why couldn't this have happened before the window shut? He should never have been employed in the first place!

Keep it simple and let Pardew/Carr/Charnley handle the transfers – doesn't mean they'll be backed with cash though eh?

Woohoo! Just seen this. Mint!

BBC:
Pardew refused the chance to back Kinnear after Saturday's 3-0 derby defeat by Sunderland.
"If I was in charge, solely, of transfers things might be different but I'm not," said Pardew.
"I think I've made my opinions very clear this week and all the rest of it is confidential."

Maybe Pards had the balls to speak his mind to Joe and Mike then.

I thinks we could be suckered here.

Lambias resigns as Joe comes in, now Joe has resigned.

Lambias comes back in after his pre arranged sabbatical and is even loved after the **** we have been through welcomed back as a saviour.

Then in 3 month we click we are back where we started less Yohan and replacement.

**** them
