Ok we all take the piss and call him the Mackem Slayer and all of that but I struggle to remember a good word uttered about his footballing ability.
It's now time to let his contract run out in the summer and wish him on his way.
He really is complete camel **** and I don't want to be left with bad memories of the lad.
What's your thoughts?

BRS.. take the floor fella. <ok>

To be fair, he was a decent player. A year or so ago, someone said something about injuries taking it's toll on him, and I think that's about the extent of it. In the championship, he was on fire... Then he got injured... When we came up, he had some good games too... Anybody remember that goal vs Spurs?

But we should have replaced him by now. Stinginess is the only reason he's stayed <ok>

KK had the best idea when he tried to ship him out shocking the length of time he's been here

I was actually just thinking much the same thing. The lad's done well with the ability he was given - bloody well really. We have got some good memories - derbies, barcelona....derbies...**** it. Time to look to the future and I'd prefer us to be blooding some of the youngsters now than turning to Shola. Thanks for the memories, but time to move on.

Shola just didn't look interested today. The Mackemslayer days are well and truly gone.

He didn't break sweat and didn't look as if he intended to.

I got the opposite impression to be honest... like he believed the sarcastic-hype, and thought he was destined to be the hero....

Borini is more like the f***ing MagSlayer at present

Yes, spot on.

He doesn't deserve the abuse though from some. Must be something about the lad and his brother to enjoy the career's they've had.

He's never complained or caused problems and NEVER proclaimed to be a great player – it's up to the managers to pick him and in fairness few have chosen to do that unless forced out of a lack of options.

Whether we'd admit it or not he's scored some (albeit too few) important and memorable goals over the years but the time to move on has been overdue for a while now.

Blimey if I'd made the most of my ability and kept a spot at NUFC like he has I'd be well happy...

Sitting behind the goal looking at him straight in the face, his expression seemed to suggest he didn't think it was worth trying, he just seemed plain disinterested.

Shola is ****, f**king ****, one of the worse strikers ever in the history of the Premiership. No sentimentality, no 'thanks for the memories', just f**k off and good riddance. Oh and please take your brother with you as he promises to be as bad.

Keegan had it right about him. Shola somehow conspired to fail his Ipswich medical which is

A/ hugely convenient

B/ There is something fundamentally wrong with him and he shouldn't be playing football at the highest level.

Before you all say 'what about Ba's knee' - that guy shown more talent in 18 months than Shola could in a 100 years.

He was shocking today, but wasn't the only one lets face it the whole lot were inept.

His time is well and truly up and he must leave in the summer and we can all move on.

For all his inadequacies, I do actually think he cares, its just that he is not good enough, and he probably knows that himself.

At the end of the day he doesn't pick himself time and time again. that's down fairly and squarely at the hands of the manager.

Pains me to say it but Borini looks pretty decent to me. Gives a guaranteed shift that is for sure. We really need to off Shola. He has just stopped us having to get a striker in for ages because there is always soneone there who can apparently 'do a job'. He was pure crap today. Imagine De Jong looking over next to him and thinking is this really my strike partner...are they having a laugh!?

It isn't, his strike partner is Remy.

Thankfully for the pair they can leave this shambles before the start of next season!
