Not a great goalscorer, and he's getting on a bit now. For a 6 month stop-gap, it'll be alright though. Plus he's an intelligent player, so even though his legs are going, he should be able to adapt, he's never been the quickest anyway.
Remember him for one particular performance against us when we played Roma in the 08/09 season. Just kept dropping off and always finding the midfielder runners with cute little passes, we could not get near the ****er.
Can see the Vucinic deal happening, because Juve are already lining up a replacement for him, and it's only a loan, so can see Wenger doing that sort of deal. The Draxler one is a lot more complicated, though.
Apparently Bild are running a story that Draxler is hoping to be fit for the Leverkusen game on Feb 15th
Believe it or not, i would be reasonably happy with that. We'd have addressed 2 main issues (ST and DM) and got a luxury player we don't really need in Draxler.

Matt Law of the torygraph is reporting we've provisionally agreed a £36m deal with Shalke for Draxler.
That's a lot of dosh, but with all these people saying he is as talented as Ozil and Gotze, I guess it's the sort of price we have to pay.
