"Further to our press release dated Wednesday 15th January 2014. The HCOSC have been asked by the Football Association (FA) to consult with our members & submit our written opinion on the Clubs request to change its playing name from Hull City AFC to Hull Tigers.

We therefore asked all our members to vote on the proposed name change & this vote has now been completed.

All members were sent a ballot form by post & a freepost envelope & asked to vote on the following :-

Do you agree to the Clubs request to change its playing name from Hull City AFC to Hull Tigers ? YES or NO

The result of the vote is as follows :-

Ballot form sent to 1477 members

Total number of votes received = 932
Members who voted YES = 377 (40.5%)
Members who voted NO = 555 (59.5%)

Turnout of votes = 63%

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our members for a fantastic response to the vote which will now be part of our submission to the FA.

Thankyou

HCOSC Board of Directors – 28th January 2014"

377 Judases to expel from our supporters club.

Why did they bother joining in the first place if they don't like Hull City?!?!?!?

interesting that the number of people not voting (ie not bothered) is around the same as those who voted yes. Is that the only fans' consultation that will be asked for by the FA, or will we see yet another vote having to take place?

The FA have already got votes from the HCSS and the Tigers Co-op(both about 90% against), along with CTWD(100% against) and now the OSC(60% against), they'd also like a full season ticket holder vote, but AA won't allow it, so they FA will just have to go with the fact that the majority are against.

Draw your own conclusions.....

Bernard Noble just ended up looking a right wally on the Andy Comfort show. Despite the majority of OSC members voting against the name change, he's going to represent both the anti-name change members and the pro-name changers at the upcoming FA meeting. What a fudge. <laugh>

Will he be wearing two different hats and speaking in two different voices?

Jesus Christ. This is becoming comical.

Next they'll be asking Patty to go down and do a speech.

Are they not entitled to voice the opinions of all their stakeholders?

What is point of having a vote if you then put the views of the minority who lost as well as the the majority whose views prevailed? He should merely put forward the fact that in a vote the people who were against it were the majority.

No doubt although Allam is for it he put forward the views of those against it? Maybe not...
