I've seen that before. The player was an idiot. The referee had no choice but to show a 2nd yellow.
The laws of the game are clear. You take your shirt off while you are on the pitch you get a yellow card.
The refs should use their judgment in these situations and not blindly follow the rules.... we all know what that can lead to...
Not as simple as that. If the referee had not sent him off he would have got a really low mark from his assessor and he would have been taken off his next game.
That's cool, he literally never makes mistakes, just like every other ref, right Tom?

A little while ago my manager of several years left and a new manager took her place. Turns out my new manager is a huge Saints fan as well and a season ticket holder just a couple of blocks over from me. Our staffing levels have been pretty tough lately with maternity leavers and other people moving on, recruitment has also been slow, as a result I have been picking up the slack and have missed a couple of games. My new manager has recognised this and last week turned up with the announcement that he has picked up a couple of tickets for Fulham away and as a thank you is taking me to "smash it" in London for the day.
Like I said...if Carlsberg did bosses!
