Its a little too early to say. First we don't know what the FA are going to do. Second we don't know what the reaction of those opposed to the name change will be if we become Hull Tigers. We could stop watching football, we could decide to watch Hull Tigers and campaign for it to be renamed or we could start an AFC City of Hull. The fat lady has yet to sing.
I have stopped attending the KC Stadium. I only attend away games in the home stands. If the name changes I will not attend anything to do with Hull Tigers.
So those opposed to the name change may go to watch Hull Tigers? I take it they would also cheer the players and the manager, sing songs and generally support the team... That team being Hull Tigers and they therefore becoming Hull Tigers supporters?
Obi the issue of who is the lease holder is a very interesting one, I don't know the answer and I don't expect many actually do know the detail, but the KC is a massive can of worms, that's a fact.
I'll take that as a "Actually, Hull Tigers doesn't exist. So we don't have any songs" To be honest, given the calibre of the 7 or 8 posters who seem comfortable with the tacky name change proposal, they never will have. They don't seem the types to sing songs or back their team, just plenty of noise online. Sssshhh, we're trying to watch Luis and Stevie G, Assem has enabled us to see them live and you're spoiling it. Disappointing, Craig.
Stuart. No idea what you mean by calibre of fan... I will be in E1 making as much nose as always Just as I did on bunkers and in the Kempton. Wel keep the Hull flag flying high Shel be wearing black and amber. We are hull we are hull we are hull. And city till I die if others want to join in. Won't make any difference to me if the FA say YES or No My HULL CITY AFC tattooes will still say HULL CITY AFC. might get a new one , tigers head maybe with The Tigers below it .

"Southampton fans have been getting themselves into a right state about the club’s future, fearing their clutch of England stars may leave following a change of ownership." Is basic fact checking too much to ask for?
I know he covers the RU, but he classes himself as primarily a sports journalist whose main interest is the Olympics/athletics. He said that given a choice between the Olympics and the RWC he would choose the Olympics every time. Tennis runs a close third!
Chazz there is already a thread for this topic to be discussed http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/243797-Name-change-discussion
You have misunderstood what I wrote. Why not sit down, get a cup of tea and have a think about what I said.
he could be a politician! why wont people actually say what they are doing? Is it the fact that they have dug themselves into such a hole and that they are to stubborn to get themselves out of it. A humiliating withdraw of their objections?
