What he means, is that it's now the FA's decision, if they reject the application, he can't change the name. And Ben's right, he doesn't know what our name is now, he thought when he changed the company name to Hull City Tigers, he also changed the playing name, but we're still Hull City AFC.
I'll have to bother to learn those abbreviations at some point you FSOOAT. If PLW is Premier league........ I will have to disagree, read first post. I'd watch HULL in any league at any time against any opposition, have done and will always do. Would I prefer the team to be more successful then not, sure. if that makes me a PLW then I'm sure 99.9% of every hull fan across the world is whatever that is.
Understood. And if it is rejected then brilliant. My argument is not that I want to change it. FAR FROM IT. I want to keep it, I'm just stating what is happening and why he might want to do it.
And finally the true mental age of someone comes out through I minor argument, I might have even called it a conversation. You should be an M.P. Well done.x
You're stating what you think is happening, There's a difference. For me it's FA to do with business, it's all about a petulant man throwing his dummy out of the pram because HCC would not give him the stadium.
I don't really know what most of these abbreviations stand for myself. But most of these children like them.
Tell us what is happening then, what is his master plan behind changing the word City to Tigers you Thick ***** Is that how you put it?
He hasn't got one, that's rather the point. His actual motivation is his fall out with Hull City Council, as apparently Hull City is too close a name and allows them to bask in our glory. Hard to believe, but I'm afraid it's true.
All well and good and as I say I do not support him at all I believe we should stay as Hull City A.F.C.. But, the fact is, it's his club and he can do what he wants with it. Everyone complaining about it, stop going its really that simple and if nobody went to the Spurs game in a few weeks i'm sure things would be a bit different.
Well he bought Hull City and the FA have the final say over wether he can change the name , so he can't actually do whatever he wants Why should we stop going to support our team which is still Hull City ? That doesn't make sense
