Presumably Pards will play Santon at RB again, while Debuchy is suspended, with Haidara at LB. But which CB pairing would you go for vs City with Colo injured?

I'm really, really not sure.

Before the season started, I wouldn't have dreamt that I'd say that Willo is the most in-form, but it's tue. However, does he suit playing alongside either MYM or Saylor? Equally, are they a suitable pairing? The problem we have is that Colo can play with any of the three and help raise their game. But without him, none of the other pairings fill me with confidence. Each one is capable of making completely avoidable mistakes and either two together fill me with dread in terms of positional sense and commanding the defensive line.

Right now, I think I'd try Willo + Saylor. But I keep changing my mind.

just looking round the forums ..man city seem very very confident ..why shouldn't they really I suppose ...

we are due a bit of luck against them me thinks ...stop silva and toure these make man city tick .... main plan ..just man to man mark silve me like ..give him no time .

That's a woman's prerogative.

For me it's 4-5-1 again, best XI we can play is Krul, Debuchy, Willo, MYM, Santon, Sissoko, Anita, Tiote, Cabs, Remy, Cisse. Gouff needs a break, Remy needs to go wider, Cisse needs a vote of confidence. This 4-5-1 gives us our best structure, and strongest attacking threat without watching Ben Arfa make a fool out of himself.

Debuchy out through suspension and Santon probably out with a thigh problem. Doesn't bode well.

it's bitterly cold out there today.. hopefully the Citeh foreigners won't be as mobile on the pitch with their arctic fleeces on.

I have a bad feeling about today's game... live humiliation on the tv? :(

Man City have about the same number of 'foreigners' in their squad as we do, don't they? ;)

Aye, but luckily ours are predominantly French and used to the same climate... sort of.
They are used to our micro climate now so hopefully the Citeh players will gt off their plane/bus and say 'jeesus.. it's like Siberia here'. :)

Yes. I think the hope that our foreigners might be a little more used to having their nads frozen, compared with City's foreigners, is clutching at straws. But we need some kind of hope. :)
