Aye Albat, found you with his Spider Man Mask on yer heed I hear ! No miss to you lot mate, not very good really and on canny money. Mike will want out I guess.
 
If he can smuggle Obertan into his case then he leaves with my blessing.
 
Been a good servant but his time is up. Thought a lot of him when he and Colo stuck around when others jumped ship when we were relegated. Thank you Jonas and best of luck where ever you go.
 
Totally agree with Gordonthetoony he stayed to get ud back up into the Premier league whilst others left for new money. Just a shame we never saw that spidermask more often. Good luck Jonas
 
Weird how a player can play every game one season and constantly walk into the team even though he's not actually doing much and then next season the club decides they won't give him a single game because it activates some contract clause. Bizarre. Pardew went from rating him highly to not rating him at all. So they just gave him the whole season off? Guess something happened?

Off the pitch maybe.
 
I think it is a simple case of his contract clause saying if he played another game... his contract auto renews at a higher salary.
It maybe something Mike put in to help him stay when we went down and now Mike sees him as surplus to requirements and therefore told Pards not to play him at all.
I guess he's been told recently he will be offloaded.

Near his sell by date but still a useful guy to have around.
 
Thats a shame. Very fond of Jonas as he always gave us everything he had. I once saw him being hassled by some drunken idiots who wanted their photos with him in a restaurant. Although they were interrupting his meal he was gracious and patient and got up to pose for photos and sign autographs. Nice guy.
