Wow, whether this is a smokescreen to push the long deal through, or we actually want both. Does that mean Livermore isn't signing? Hmmm, interesting news this.

Well if we stay up we have the option to buy him in the summer. Could be that they decided we didnt need anyone on loan so rather than buy and fee up a loan spot they are going to leave it tell the summer.

Almost have to be, the bid for Jelavic needed to be at least 5.5 and the Long bid needed to be 6.5. Both those values had to be record fees for us.

EDIT: However, Mike White suggests £4.5m for both bids. Contradictory statements there, even between Buckingham (HDM) and White (BBC)...

I'm with you, but I think Jelavic is quite a stocky lad. Hopefully he can get an early goal and settle all the nerves. I'm a massive fan of Long, hopefully he gets signed up.

This has to mean that Fryatt, Pro and Mclean are leaving. We will have 7 strikers if we sing Long and Jelavic.
