Im sure they will ease up on united now .

What he does in his free time is up to him is he was not a footballer no one would give a toss about ether of these two stories.

David Moyes has been nominated for Manager of the month for December
This on the back scraping past bottom half and relegation fodder teams and then losing two on the trot at home to Everton and Newcastle. Whereas top of the table Wenger doesn't even get a nomination.
This has got to be a ****ing sympathy vote, surely ?

That would be fuckin hilarious .
Then they would have to say why he won it.
I think the FA or whoever runs this competition rewards the prize on a points based system.
I'm guessing they look at the position every team was on before their fixtures in that month, compare this to the position of the teams they played, and award/deduct points based on whether they won/over performed according to their league position. Therefore Manu would get more points for beating villa than Arsenal would for Newcastle due to the fact that Villa and Manu were closer in the league table, etc.
Course, I could be talking out my arse here, but it would kind of explain why Moyes has been nominated (i.e. Manure are total kack)

Moyes has been shortlisted as MOTM for December.Has anyone actually bothered to look at his record for December ?Whilst everyone is taking the piss out of Man Utd losing their last 3 games don't forget they took place in January
I've just looked at Stretford's results for December and for Moyes to be shortlisted for MOTM is frankly ludicrous
Didn't their winning run includes games in Europe & the LC ?After drawing to spuds, and losing against Everton and Newcastle at home, they went on a 6 run winning streak. The problem is, they didn't beat one top side in that 6 game running streak and they lost back to back games at home. It was a good run but not anything amazing considering he is manager of Man U.
In my opinion, Martinez has more claim to be MOTM, only losing once in December, beating Manure at OT, drawing against (and out-playing in large chunks of the game) an in-form Arsenal and winning the rest of their fixtures.
