Apparently he's really impressing at Oldham, he's their first choice keeper. He probably needs a season at Championship level to show whether he can cut it and I think his contract runs out at the end of the season, but if Townsend can get a new deal, there's no reason Oxley can't. I think he'd be a great understudy to Allan McGregor, especially with two of our goalkeepers out of contract at the end of the season. EDIT: Scratch that, Oxley signed a new two year deal at the start of the season. My bad.
