    Hull City will splash some cash in January. Dr Allam confirms. Shane Long tops the list if the rumours are correct.
    Melton is dead. It wont happen for the time being at least. EYCC have confirmed, off the record.

    I'd have thought one of the Icelandic lads will be on the shopping list, whether it's the one at Ajax (more likely) or Finbogasson (preferred) is beyond me. I know we sent scouts to watch a Forest game recently; I'm guessing it wasn't to watch Jack Hobbs so could be somebody else. They were playing Leicester.

    Wouldn't mind, but he isn't going to get in ahead of Thudd or Livermore. Unless he was played in the Aluko role. We might have been watching Knockaert.

    The loan I'm guessing would be the cheaper option and as he wouldn't use up a loan slot, it'll be easier for a half season loan with a view to a permanent. He also has a Dutch passport (he is actually Dutch) so there wouldn't be any work permit issues.
