SB has denied we are after Fletcher and I don't see us spending £12Million on anyone any time soon. £1.5 for Wells must be worth a punt - even if it includes someone like Mclean in part ex
The problem with McLean is that he is on Premiership wages which no-one is willing to match. So the best we can hope for is to loan him out until his contract expires and the other club to pick up a reasonable percentage of his salary.
Hobbs might be used in a deal for us to get Jean Beausejour. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/hull-transfer-news-tigers-plot-2992698?
A squad player for a squad player really.... can play the LWB role when Brady is out. Scored for Wigan last week Vs Derby: http://www1.skysports.com/watch/vid...etitions/championship/9098687/derby-0-1-wigan ....got totally done by Andre Wisdom at the end of the vid though.
Seems there's substance in this one http://www.wigan.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=24174&start=1
@chrislepkowski 25m Shane Long wants clarity on #wba job situation. Is he staying post-January? Maybe. But answer wasn't convincing. Story in Monday's Bham Mail
have you noticed that all other teams have a dedicated website to their own team? What Does Hull Tigers have? HDF and CI... and they are shocking!
As much as I loved the reply, I was in fact meaning look at the date of that rumour, it was the 3rd and the mirror's article was on the 5th. Generally, if there are two different reports from somewhere it makes the story more likely to be true, although they could have stolen it off vital Wigan's site.
Nottingham papers also now reporting that we may recall Hobbs, to swap him for Jean Beausejour... http://www.nottinghampost.com/Trans...Forest-Hobbs/story-20405306-detail/story.html
Stewart to sign for Leeds, possibly as early as today... http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spor...up-stewart-transfer-with-hull-today-1-6353712
Do we reckon Livermore on a perm will be January of end of season.. financially extending his loan may be the club's preference
Interesting. I expect that if we really are interested then as soon as they have an offer accepted, we'll match it.
Koren not worried about no contract extension talks: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11714/9104000? I think although he hasn't been at his best every game this season, he is worthy of a new 1 or 2 year contract - he showed against Fulham that he still has something to give when we have injuries in key areas, and you can't beat the wise words of an experienced pro in the dressing room.
I wonder how big our shopping list is? By the sounds of it: 2 strikers and 1 (possibly 2) wingers? Long Djordjevic Beausejour & possibly McGeady and Rabia?
