United fan here in peace, I just want to say congratulations on your victory today.

Cheers
So pleased for OGS and the Players, it will prove that we can compete by attacking teams ok it wasnt the Newcastle first team but you can only beat what is in front of you.

Great win for you today but expected as much (see my post last night on 'A Football Thread ' #12) - even went as far as predicting a 2-1 win; glad to see I was correct - am now going to start slapping myself around the head for not putting a bet on!!
Hope the OGS effect continues - good luck guys!![]()

Did you win a game? missed that, well done!.....................![]()

Well done for yesterday and good luck, hope you stay up and progress in the cup.

Well done yesterday it was fully deserved. Good luck in the next round. I think you will do well with OGS. Just hope the nutter gives him the time he will need.![]()
Cheers - I hope so too! As an aside, this was the 3rd time I'd been to Newcastle, and it just gets better and better - great city, lovely people...dodgy kebabs.

) was in the 90's when I flew up there from Cardiff in a private Lear jet owned by Grundfos pumps.
ITHTK - Apart from the football, the best memory I have of Newcastle (I think) was in the 90's when I flew up there from Cardiff in a private Lear jet owned by Grundfos pumps.
It was a jolly arranged by the company for some specifiers and customers - only about half a dozen of us on the plane with their national sales manager.
The only thing I can remember was it only took about 40 minutes to get there, and the pilot (who you are virtually sitting with) said if you look down to your left that's Manchester. Christ, we'd only just taken off and I thought it was bloody Newport!...
Don't remember the flight back, but somehow I know I had a good time.
Where is/was the Grundfos manufacturing plant and is it still there?
Nee wonder it took you so long getting back. Did you stop at every service station??![]()
