Just for those who are unfamiliar with TJ and his running obsession with Spurs, here's a little glimpse into his world:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/A55778773
That thread ran for nearly two years and virtually every one of his predictions of doom saw us push onwards and upwards. He was like a good luck charm.
Immune to the irony of his own posts, he's back for more.

Ah well, TJ. You can't say that I didn't warn you.
Usual rules apply though, so no abuse or insults to the OP, please. <ok>

my favourite ever thread on any site I have ever been on...welcome back TJ ... long may you brighten up winter days with your comedy genious

I don't see much of any arrogance on here to be honest.

Exactly.

It's merely the case that us Spurs fan know full well that we shouldn't be losing to the likes of Arsenal and 'Pool, especially not at home, and that we really should have been challenging for the title, this season.

When you look at it like that, the really was no option but for AVB to be shown the door.

Certainly, there's no arrogance, here.

Wow.

Posts like this bitter tripe make me feel really sorry for the mods on this board who have to actually read this drivel. I can only blame myself for clicking on it.

I'm no fan of AVB and wasn't a fan of Redknapp but if people can't see that Levy is the root problem then this is just a rat race for Spurs.

This is all on Levy, and IMO he should resign.

Levy has done the right thing though, he has appointed a football man to make (or at least advise on) these decisions. In the past he has appointed managers and bought players whilst not having any background in the playing side. Whether Baldini is the right man is open to debate, but if it means Levy is stepping back, then, in a way, he has accepted responsibility?

True, lenny, but we have done out best to put the bitter back in his box. All in all, I think we have.

OP has a valid point.

People like you should come out of your box, open your eyes and see the reality.
Average managers will queue for you. Not the likes several of you are quoting.

Few of you with sense accept that, but that is overwhelming minority.

Yes, of course he does.

You are funny!

How about you reserve your judgement until after we make our appointment, eh?

If we get Hiddink, your apology should be forthcoming, and if we get Ian Dowey I'll owe you one.

Was your nickname at school "lightening" by any chance?

Of course average managers will want to take on a great club like the mighty Spurs; any shell-suit-wearing Mouser from the grimy streets of Merseyside could tell us that!

Few of you with sense accept that, but that is overwhelming minority.

Well, it's a good thing that we have a bright spark like you to take the time to come on this board and lend us the benefit of your insightful and constructive comments, then, eh!

I thought Peskie was the clown of the party. Seems we have others!
I noticed Peskie giving advice over on the Chelsea site,by the way.......

I worry about this one, google him, there's next to nothing and what there is isn't great... http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3276...3/baldini-takes-blame-for-roma-season?ICID=OP <yikes>

I can't see anywhere where you can stand back and say, yeah he did a good job there. However, he has a fantastic contact network apparently, and has worked feverishly to get some of those signings in. But, like you say whether he's capable of making the most of that we'll have to wait and see.

Oh! Come on! He's a Chav, you surely didn't expect anything intelligent or thoughtfully constructed, did you?...

Interesting that he managed to quote one of our posters - you know the one he is obsessed with - given I thought he was banned? Anyone seen Dickie Davies' Tache around recently <whistle>

I had a look at the gooners board yesterday and he was talking about this thread, he either logs in as a guest or has sone of his "Mates" to show him quotes!

But he had an actual quote - with the 2 little arrows, which shows it is not just a copy and paste, but a "Reply With Quote"? That can only be done by logging in (I think?)

If you follow the quote below (that bit he quoted doesn't show), you'll see what I mean.

After you got beaten by Sunderland:

You couldn't make this **** up if you tried <laugh>

lol, twice at home to the Hammers this season, and we've had half our first team out, I think we've probably got more points of you in the last 5 years than you havbe off arsenal in 10, and you STILL think you're a club big enough for the best managers in world football.

Hmm odd, he could be posting on here on another account? People that get banned usually return or come in disguise! Not that I've ever been banned from a forum!

League table. Look at historical ones too if you wish.

You can't even sell out against Arsenal on Boxing Day. (Tickets still on general sale) You aren't even a big team in Newham. The ground share with Orient is not such a bad idea. Brisbane Road should be just big enough.<laugh>

you're right, we aren't a 'massive club' unlike you, Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle are bigger than you, attendence wise, (you're one place above us) not that you'd know it as they don't run their mouths of every 5 mins
