Who are you talking too?

I wouldn't say anyone "looks down their nose" at Liverpool - very strange comment

Have a look at the mousers thread, put yourself in our shoes, and you'll understand where I'm coming from.

I think our club is currently one of the best run in the PL.

not spending beyond our means and in a decent financial situ compared to what we were in. Moving to the olympic stadium which will really help us push forward.

But the main difference is we dont think we are something we arent. We are currently a low mid table side with a bit of potential to maybe become a top mid table side over the next 3/4 years. We could just as easily bounce between leagues like we have done for the last decade.

Spurs think they are genuine title challengers, think that all these high class managers would be interested in managing them and think they have a great chairman and are a well run club.

I think the last few weeks and especially todays sacking proves that none of the above are true

Low midtable? You're relegation fodder currently. Good job knowing what you are :D

Who's said we were title challengers? Seriously? The only ones I've heard mention it since the start of the season was the pundits and opposition managers looking to put the pressure on.

Sure some fans at some point hoped that we could become contenders with this new squad but I don't know anyone that expected it.

See this is the point you guys keep missing. Just because we laughed at you guys when time after time you thought you were going to overtake us doesn't mean we were looking down our noses at anyone. We might as well all be Rotherham fans we'd still have found it funny that you came on our board each season and talked yourselves into thinking you were better than "small" teams like Spurs every season only to fall quite a distance short.

Just for those who are unfamiliar with TJ and his running obsession with Spurs, here's a little glimpse into his world:

That thread ran for nearly two years and virtually every one of his predictions of doom saw us push onwards and upwards. He was like a good luck charm.
Immune to the irony of his own posts, he's back for more.

Ah well, TJ. You can't say that I didn't warn you.
Usual rules apply though, so no abuse or insults to the OP, please.
best thread of all time

The 1st line though is very spooky.

TJ = Nostradamus

I wouldn't worry about it. Have a look at their Board. They're doing it AGAIN. Talking about winning the Premier League title <doh>
You'd think they'd have learned their lesson after getting it wrong 20 years running? But no. Rather than slowly building and having realistic expectations, they're getting all carried away again. And this only a couple of weeks after being taken apart by HULL!

It must be in the Scoucer's DNA to keep living in the past when they was once a huge Club.

Not Levy's fault..

He issued a clear mandate as to what was expected of the manager and supplied the funds to assist him.

He does not man-manage the squad. He does not pick the team, make the substitutions or provide the tactics.

The job was not too big for Andre but at the end of the day, he got his own arse the sack.

It is perfectly normal for Mr Levy and the faithful fans to expect better.

Honestly yid you just make it up as you go along.

It's there to ridicule us as we've nosedived and you have taken over in past years and a chance to bring out prehistoric stereotypes of us.

Its not there as some sort of counter measure to us ridiculing you lot. Is there anything on our board to suggest this? Complete falacy mate and you know it.

Unfortunately yesterday that arrogance and general pisstaking was made to look pretty silly.

Think you'll find there is a thread about keeping our feet on thd ground.

We know where we are as a club. 4-6 th.

Nice story though.

No, I never said it was. It's there because we all enjoyed laughing as you guys built yourselves up to keep falling down again and again. You don't remember the cross board threads back in the day? Well we do and since then you've been on here to gloat everytime something goes badly for us. Take last year, you were laughing at our poor side at the start of the season... then we finished comfortably above you. Go back another season, it was the same. And the one before that. It's not stereotyping and it's not based on old jokes about your support, it's what happened. No one was worried about you ridiculing us because everytime you tried to it bit you on the ass a few weeks later.

Anyway, enjoy your time in the Sun, hopefully we'll have sorted ourselves out by the end of the season :)

Mousers finishing below a small club like Spurs who don't know their place, for 4 consecutive seasons,
and with no CL to console themselves with either is very painful, Not having the most domestic league titles
won security blanket to cling to worsens it. God knows what happens if Everton finish above
them for 4 consecutive seasons.

Just seeing a lot of threads saying how you should get Laudrup, Potechino, Capello, Klinsman etc...

What makes you think any of these managers would actually want the job ??

You have just sacked your best manager in 10 years, sell your best players and your chairman is obviously not very good.

I have always said that i dont think spurs are a big club and that they will never be successful as they make bad decisions over and over again.

If you actually looked at your squad and realises that your club have WASTED the £100 million you got for Bale you should surely be looking to get rid of the chairman???

Apart from those in the top jobs, 90% of managers would love to manage this squad. International players in abundance and despite the fact we've suffered some horrible defeats along with god-awful performances, we're still in a half decent position. 7th in the league, QF of LC and 100% record in Europa so far.

As a watford fan I feel your pain lads. We've been getting called arrogant all season by fans of sleeping giants when not one of our fans said we'd be getting promoted this season - we all knew we may ahve over achieved last year. I read some of the threads on here a lot as it's one of the better Premier league boards for ahving a decent cross section of fans from other clubs. I don't see much of any arrogance on here to be honest.

I suspect we're both in for a bit of schadenfreude over the next few days - it'll be someone else's turn soon enough.

no, they're not arrogant, that's why the most voted for manager in their 'who will be next', is Hiddink, they actually think they are a club that Hiddink would consider, and Capello. Really?

Understand the hammers have 40,000 half price seats going for the opening match (new? stadia) against Doncaster
