it was said with a ;p . Dempsey was good for Fulham but never right for us and summed up the start of us going backwards in terms of being an attractive team to watch.

Combination of both, Avb was never right for us, nor was Dempsey but signing Dempsey showed our lack of ambition at the time to bring in real quality replacements to replace players that left.

It's an incredible start to the season, isn't it? If Chelsea win there will be 1 point seperating the top 4, 2 points seperating the top 5 and 8 seperating the top 8. Has there ever been a season quite like it?
Just had a look and there were 13 points seperating 4th(us) and top after 17 games last season. What a difference it is this season.
It's turning into a fantastic and nail biting season. 6 points between us and 7th ! Just two losses
