I see Deuce has rejoined Fulham for a couple of months. Not sure the Craven Cottage faithful will be very pleased! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25463243
it was said with a ;p . Dempsey was good for Fulham but never right for us and summed up the start of us going backwards in terms of being an attractive team to watch.
You know what they say Spurf, great mods think alike! Or could that have been coincidental timing? We seem to have gone that way regardless of personnel.
Combination of both, Avb was never right for us, nor was Dempsey but signing Dempsey showed our lack of ambition at the time to bring in real quality replacements to replace players that left.
Yours - He is a class A numpty. His articles are ****e, I really hope he is getting paid for the ****e he spouts. Spurf (I think, can't be bothered to search) mentioned earlier in the thread that personal attacks are not tolerated - which was why I thought it was funny.
Suarez signs new deal and Liverpool say they will see his best years in a Liverpool shirt. We thought the same when Modric and Bale signed contracts only to try and leave a year later, with Bale successful. These contracts are only extended so they earn a bigger wage until they get their dream move. Who's going to be the next player to commit their future but leave a year later? Naughton
Assuming a draw tomorrow, there will be a 4 pt gap between the top 5 and the rest. That will be the first significant moment of the PL season IMHO. Very important now to take 6 from 6 before the Man Utd game.
It's an incredible start to the season, isn't it? If Chelsea win there will be 1 point seperating the top 4, 2 points seperating the top 5 and 8 seperating the top 8. Has there ever been a season quite like it?
Just had a look and there were 13 points seperating 4th(us) and top after 17 games last season. What a difference it is this season.
Basically a bit of Nemesis on the penalties this season has done us a favour to date. On GD we should be on 20-21 pts really.
Chelsea's bench isn't bad tonight! What result do we want? There is positives in all outcomes although an Arsenal win would be my least favourite.
A draw and a few sendings off, long term injuries and I won't grumble if I saw a few bottles being thrown.
