Anyway, every cloud has got a silver lining. Last nights result should ensure that Big Sam keeps his job long enough to guarantee their progression to the Championship at the end of the season.

Yes, because if you read more thoroughly you would realise that it's a bit rich your lot making jokes about who knocked us out of the COC when your lot were knocked out of both cups by lower-league opposition last season, which is much more humiliating.

No,you don't spend long on the board,just come to wum,still we have the last laugh,at least the team that knocked us out are in the P/L not a lower league!!

So being knocked out by West Ham has given you a last laugh...? I just don't get that one.

The only comments I make that could be construed as WUMmish are retaliatory remarks to WUM comments. I'm perfectly capable of having sensible footballing debate with Spurs posters. I've got a significant amount of time for YidVicious and PleaseNotPoll for example. Spurf, totsfan and Humanbeingincroydon however just seem to smell an Arsenal fan and go on the offensive. Which inevitably results in me replying in the offensive on the odd occasion I post. Which results in a WUM-fest.

So lets debate sensibly then if you don't like WUMmery.

I love wummery, but only if it's quality.

Generally, I tend to own most wums (being, as I am, a supremely gifted wum-artiste), especially those of a Gooner and Chav inclination, which can get a bit tedious, if I am being honest (which I'm usually not).

Only 14 year old school drop-outs, destined to work in menial jobs for the rest of their lives due to being too thick to realise that top class wummery (such as mine) is the best form of banter that money can buy.
