There speaks the voice of a young, in-experienced and naïve young man.... boy are you in for some life shocks.

Tell him Fran ;)

Agreed FLT. If there is one sweeping generalisation that you can actually rely on, it is this:

When it comes to women, you will never gain the moral high ground.

I don't have an advent calendar this year. Poor from me, and even worse from the girlfriend for not providing. Especially as I bought her a Nail Polish advent calendar which she loves.

Lads, next Christmas buy your girls nail polish advent calendars. So many brownie points built up pre-christmas that it now doesn't matter if I mess up the present-buying.

Peter Hitchins, he's been on Question Time in the last year or so, hasn't he? I'm sure I recall thinking he seemed like a bit of a dick.

Back to important stuff...I've eaten my 18th chocolate from my advent calendar instead of my 17th. Now, should I eat my 17th chocolate today as well or save it till tomorrow.

I'd save it. You've already had one today but it'll be disappointing to have none at all tomorrow!

That is the Peter Hitchins way of debate when he isn't getting his point accepted and being met by stout, valid rebuttal. First he questions someone's motifs, then he questions their capacity to argue a point. It's an intellectualised way of calling someone a thickie, instead of rational argument, and the ridiculous thing is that everyone else can see him being the prick, while he is accusing the other person.

And I don't blame Matt Perry either.

The other problem is that things like evidence and statistics are just an inconvenience put in the way to test his pre-concieved beliefs. So it's kind of impossible to argue with him because facts don't really come into the debate.

So the person who does the Twitter for Portsmouth Ladies has apparently resigned. Not sure when as I only just found out but that does explain why I've been the only person updating their Twitter page in the last three weeks or so, but that means if I'm not at a match, there won't be Twitter updates so I have no way of knowing what's happening (before I'd check the Twitter feed every now and then to see if anything has happened and if so post it on the Facebook page). There is sometimes live radio commentary from most games but unless I can get Mixlr working on my phone, it means I cannot be out between 2 and 4 on a Sunday. Otherwise I'd have no way of updating the Twitter/Facebook page and it would look quite unprofessional if there are no updates, especially for the former. If there isn't radio commentary, then I'm ****ed or will have to try to get updates from the opposition. Kinda annoying.

If I were you I'd just say **** that and stop trying.

Are you getting paid for your seemingly unappreciated enthusiastic efforts..?

Got that T-shirt - my balls became all swollen and bruised, like a pair of giant brambles. Mrs AberdeenSaint was determined to see me suffer for a change.

Too much information.

I only need one in the sense that 2 kids is enough.
