If anyone is interested in joining this new branch please get in touch.

We are mainly South Coast based, but the aim is to cover the South-South East and parts of the South West.

It is hoped that as a branch we can and will meet up at both home and away matches. If you are already in the OSC my contact details are in the Tiger Mag and were in the last home game program. OSC members may also be receiving an email.

If you are not already a member of the HCOSC, please look on the web site and join up.

The aims of the branch are simple, to meet up with other Southern based supporters.

I cannot make the Boxing Day match due to the early start and a so few of us may meet up in the Southampton Area and watch it on the box with a pint or two. Its that simple really. I know that supporters in the London area are well served by the HCSS and nothing that we do will interfere with that. In fact I am a member of the HCSS as well and I have no reason to give that up. We are not in competition.

In the future we hope to have players come to a branch meeting, but it is really early days.

Off topic, but who the **** deleted that wrist slitter thread? That was fab, I just came on to read it again and it was gone! Not impressed.

I'm an OSC member and if any Manchester or Greater Manchester folk wanna meet up once in a while and chat about Hull City over a pint i'm up for that, Does get boring hearing the same old **** from my Manc (moaning about UTD/City) friends

I am aware, am a member just seems a little overkill to be sub-branching when the good work the HCSS do would be better placed as one voice I would have though. Either way, good luck.

The difference is this.

Take the away Cardiff match.
The OSC publishes which pub they will all meet up in you can wear colours and there will be City supporters from every branch.
HCSS do not allow details of which pub they are using to be published, wearing colours isn't encouraged and you will only met up with HCSS members.
Home matches the OSC members meet in the arena bar.
I can't tell you where the HCSS members meet.
That's all there is to it

There are Man Utd fans in Manchester? Really? Thought they all support City.

Please ignore me, I am tired and being pedantic. Have you go any social media, I am just outside of London myself so will always keep an eye out for local supporter groups!

Even I know which pub the HCSS supporters go to and I've never been a member of HCSS.

Hello Omega Man.

Just a quick(ish) correction. The HCSS do publish which pubs members meet up in pre-game. We publish a pre-match pub guide every season which is sent out to all members. We simply ask that people don't discuss these pubs on internet message boards due to past issues we've had with opposition fans turning up to start trouble, or local police closing the pub for a few hours before the game or telling the landlords to not admit away fans. The recent issues with WYP show just how reliant many police forces are on monitoring message boards to control away fans.

We also don't mind colours being worn in many pubs, we just advise against it in a handful of pubs for any given season for a variety of reasons, mostly linked with the issues raised above. Non-HCSS members do also attend the pubs we use.

Home matches tend to see a gathering of HCSS members in Pave, but you'll find members dotted around a variety of pubs around Hull pre-game.

Obviously this isn't for you, however, which is fair enough. Good luck with the group.

Kind regards,

Richard Gardham
