You can say what you like, but the sort of thing we're talking about is simply unnecessary on a football forum as there are umpteen way to take the piss out of each other without sinking to that sort of level. In any event, people earn the right to take the piss on a forum. If you establish a rapport with posters on a board, like jimileysbaldhead or Sombrero have done, you can come on and cheerfully take the piss. Quite a lot of your lot just steam in with the piss-taking from the off and then bitch about getting knocked back, because people assume they're on the wum. Yet we're "sensitive" when we don't like the sort of crap you describe as "your material"?

And smug is not one to use a dead relative in any way, particularly his sister, "to win an internet debate". I think your last comment on that was beneath contempt. I don't have a problem with you, personally, but if that's the way you think I expect it's only a matter of time.

I'm an amateur comedian, so what if I call it my material? I use everyday conversations and interactions with people on here to focus my ambition (you were the one likening me to Frankie Boyle ). Hence I can take a joke and am willing to give some back. Some like my comedy style, some don't (mostly women thus far haha). Anyone who doesn't want to trade with me can ignore me. Simple. I don't derail threads on purpose.

What Smug (and others) have done is sad, when I've made a generic joke and. They start adding deceased relatives in like they were the aim of my mockery. It's beyond sad, because they're not thick enough to believe it. If they don't like such jokes, they should use an ignore button, end of. It's not like I seek people with bereavements out to harass them, or I'd be at a morgue

I believe our mods are in favour of a cross-board for derby days, which I think would be fun, but yours disagree, for all we are apparently a fascist world power
I think that would be fun, for a few days anyway. I mean, a giant joke match, where we all give and take a bit, where WUMs on each side fill their boots for a bit? I mean, with a few ground rules I think that could be superb. Some people forget this is a bloody forum, and that Sunderland and Newcastle are rivals, that what we have craic on about here is good humoured, while the thugs with the cranial capacity of lowland Gorrilas on both sides are out in the city centres beating the s*** out of each other like numbskulls they are

I think a line should be drawn when everyone's calmed the f*** down. People know where they stand for f*** sake, no need to be babies about it. Unban the ones that have been banned and take it sensibly, like f***ing grown-ups.
