The journalist's kids in the Biko case ended up going to my school. The library at the school had a signed copy of the book Biko which I took out to read.

And promptly lost.

Bad times. I still cringe at the memory.

Well, it's a morale question for you, and I'm not going to advise you either way, or tell you what I'd do, but... if you do keep it, don't whatever you do sell it on, give it away, or use it for a period of about 6 months at the very least. The store may eventually find out their error and then they will cause you all sorts of grief about it.
