Yep. I agree. Yet back in the 1960's it was taken quite seriously by the weak minded. I was too young to have an opinion back then. Besides, I've always preferred the Beach Boys, so all-in-all I wasn't that bothered. For a laugh, here's the evidence:

I've always loved serious films set in space. 2001 Space Odyssey was the pinnacle of them. Shame it happened so early really. Can't remake it. Would be a total disaster.

They are so up for it they are releasing two different Anchorman 2 movies. Both will have the same plot but each will have different jokes etc then the other.
