Vote of Confidence in DMD as a moderator

DMD has for some time been closing threads he personally doesn't agree with. Recently he has started deleting posts he doesn't agree with, and today he has edited posts to suit what he wants them to say.

Many believe all of these things are beyond his remit as a moderator on this site and therefore I am calling for a vote of confidence in DMD as moderator.

This vote has nothing to do with any other matters. It purely concerns his fitness to continue as a moderator on this forum and if he loses the vote I propose we have another election (as we did with PLT) to find a suitable moderator to replace him.

Also. If anyone is wondering, I will not stand in any subsequent election for a new moderator.

I'm still waiting on another thread for evidence of these racist posts, on here I'll ask for evidence of these other claims you make.
 
I think old Nelson's passing has caused one or two lachrymose posters to take leave of their senses.

I'm not playing your game of pedantic / evasive arguments DMD. The posters on here will decide whether they agree with the points or not.
 
I'm safe, unless it get's 24,000 people voting. Them's the rules apparently. <ok>

Do you not think THIS thread shows the gaping hole in your claim I close threads I don't agree with?

Perhaps if the OP finds that most posters support DMD, he will leave the forum quietly or fall on his sword (or whatever online posters do..)?
 
I've never had a problem with DMD. I thought his willingness to seek out new posters and to question why some people watch but don't post was laudible. I've been much more active since then.
