Vote of Confidence in DMD as a moderator

The points in the OP are very basic to anyone's expectations of a messageboard.

1. Would you like your next thread closed on the subjective view of one moderator even if it was popular with other posters?

2. Would you like your next post to be deleted based on the subjective view of one moderator?

3. Would you like the view you express in your next post to be altered to suit the subjective view of one moderator?

I have nothing against DMD personally and I have had a few laughs with him on here, but this is supposed to be a free country and most of us believe in free speech.

 

Is that the best you can do Craig?

Whinge cos he's deleted/edited a few posts?

That's what a mod does. Also merges and maintains the board generally.

It's got an end date of 28th December FFS, I'm bored ****less of it after an hour or so.

It's baseless & pointless, it will achieve nothing positive for anybody involved.

What'll happen if Craig gets his way & then doesn't like who replaces DMD? Will he throw another strop & start another poll? Where does it end? Has DMD agreed to this? If not, you can vote all you like it'll change nothing.

Can users of other boards vote? If so, the results are already pointless, flawed & irrelevant.

To me it appears nothing more than a personal vindictive witch hunt based on unsubstantiated accusations.

If the other mods back DMD, the super mods back DMD & the site owner backs DMD & now it also appears forum members back DMD then there's not a lot going to change & maybe you should be asking yourself if this place is really for you.

After seeing Agro's post earlier it appeared DMD had subsequently altered it to suit yours & bog roll's requirements not his own. That's good isn't it?

The mods do a sterling job, their actions, when taken, will not please everybody. It certainly isn't the end of the world or reason to get agitated.

Who knows, this time next year some may have changed their opinion of DMD & offer unconditional support to him regardless of what he does or says.

Take a break for a bit, you don't have to respond to every thread or poster.

Tbh there are some threads I open and have no idea what they are about because I have about 50 posters on ignore!

Really not worth getting in a twist about it all.

 

Don't know what this is about but I think peoples posts shouldn't be changed unless person who posts it changes it.

I don't think the mods are as good as they use to be because they seem to jump on anyone whose not bothered about the name change , I think they should be more neutral.

Didn't olm resign so he could give HIS opinion more stronger ?

I saw a pic of you near a Police car, is that the thread? I'm not aware of them being removed or any reason why they should be.

There is a problem with some pics showing as three dots ... at the moment that the owners trying to resolve. It could be that?

There are comments suggesting there is one missing? I'm not fully sure though.

 

My issue with this site is lack of moderation when it comes to people making remarks referring to somebody elses skin colour which seems to happen a lot from what I've seen, it's not funny and needs sorting out and am betting a lot more people would contribute here but for it.

 

I'm happy with the mods, I don't know how they have the patience to put up with some of the whining, boring, repetitive, argumentative sad old sacks on here.

I'm not on here all the time but the last one I saw was some silly scrote calling Yannick Sagbo Yannick 'Sambo' and it wasn't too long ago, am sure plenty on here saw it. If people think thats funny its a good indicator of how well this site is moderated

 

Will happily pay a tenner to anyone who proves that was ever posted.
