The official Off-Topic Chat Thread now known as "Beefy's Corner".

Firstly, the normal rules of the site apply. You cannot start a discussion about contentious issues, Politics, Religion, or show Porn, etc... The flip side of this arrangement is that there will be a much stricter enforcement of the "no going off topic" rule which has always been the case anyway, on the other threads.

Secondly, the normal rules of the Saints board will apply, (except that you can go off-topic obviously). This is not going to become a "private GC Lite." Personal insults will not be tolerated, and neither will goading someone to draw them out. The whole tone of this board has suffered in the past as differing views have been aired and there have been far too many angry exchanges. Vitriolic exchanges are not welcome and will be dealt with as appropriate. If you have fallen out with a poster put him on your ignore list and don't rise to the bait!
If you see content which is not appropriate, please send the mods a PM rather than fronting up the poster and let us deal with it to save a bun-fight. Lastly, if a thread is closed or deleted by one of the Mods, and you have some good reason that it should reopen, then send us a PM with your reasons. Simply re-posting the same thread again to be confrontational would be considered very provocative and would probably lead to action being taken.

It would seem that large numbers of posts and subjects causes problems for mobile phone users to access this site. So from time to time it will be necessary to close the threads down and start a new one. Approximately every 1000 posts or so

To kick off, when did this practice of celebrating birthdays of dead people start..? Maria Callas would have 90 today if she had lived. I can remember Maria Callas at any time I like.

And there's another one - celebrating the anniversary of the start of famous TV or Radio programmes when they long since stopped making them. Why do they do that..? Are we commanded to celebrate..?

By the way, I've nothing against Maria Callas, A wonderful voice.

As such a young and high profile sportsman it's probably a difficult thing to do. Good on him.

I reckon she is going bankrupt, so needs all the money she can.

Also a post Joe will like, Fallout 4 is being teased again. A website has a morse code and states Fallout 4 is being made for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Catch up Beefy, we got excited about this weeks ago!

Also that Witcher game you were on about a while back looks awesome, might have to stick a preorder on it.

They said it would help as you would know the past etc. But have said it is a completely different story so won't matter so much. It will also be the first Witcher that is open world.

I got Witcher 2 on Steam during the sale for just over £3 on a recommendation. Haven't played much so far but it looks very pretty. Character customisation seems very limited though.

It's limited because it was a series of books before getting made into a game. So the character was made already.

There's a petition gone up to award the horse that kicked Dappy in the face with the Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the BRITS.

    Never a more worthy petition...
