A couple of tweets from someone who was in the bar at the time...

@scotscribbler: Holy ****ing ****. The roof in The Clutha Bar just collapsed mid gig. People have been caught under it, injuries + smoke everywhere. ****.

@scotscribbler: This is unbelievable. Just spent 20 minutes pulling people out the bar. Apparently a helicopter crashed on the roof. http://t.co/4hoSwgwX2E

May have been mentioned earlier, but Lewis Collins died today/yesterday. Professionals were a part of my growing up and I think either he or the other one lived in my home town a few years back (Alton)

I also grew up with the Professionals. You may or may not know that Lewis Collins, a promising drummer at the time, was once offered the drum gig with an up and coming band called... The Beatles.

He turned them down.

There are sambuca cocktails, but that means tasting it for longer. **** liquorice-flavoured anything.

Notts County using social media... differently.

A Brentford fan tweeted about having an U16 ticket despite being 17, and then tweeted about being drunk.

Notts have printed his profile photo off and stuck it up in the turnstile - and are directly tweeting him not to try it if he is doing what he claims.

Another twerp finding out that if one is too gobby on social media it comes back to bite one.

You are all heading in the wrong direction for your malts... head West. Bushmills is where it is at.

Strangely, I prefer my 10year old Bushmills neat and my 16 year old with a dash of water.

I actually have a bottle of Bushmills open in my kitchen. I love it. Scotch single malts are for special occasions, Bushmills and Jameson are my everday sipping whiskeys.
