Didn't see the game but delighted with the result. I don't have a flashy iPhone/Samsung etc. Just get text alerts for goals/half-time/full-time. It's agony..the game's at 1-1 and something comes in at 4:40pm. It's too early for full-time so the scores changed to 2-1 or 1-2...but which way. Drained.com
....the stats do indicate a problem though. Swansea's slow build up play allows the opposition to get big numbers behind the ball leading to a lot of shots not reaching the target..
I had us down for a 2-1 win on here somewhere, was a bit worried when Britton was benched for the start of this one, and I'm happy with the result, we are back in the top 10 where we belong, now lets build on this, and keep on fighting!................... please log in to view this image Now where's that old bugger sparkey!.....................
Good performance all round today, Lamah looks like with a bit more game time will become an asset to the side with great technical ability but no end product in front of goal just yet. some of our movement in the second half was sublime and we created enough to have won the game by a bigger margin. 3 points away from home regardless of who we're playing and in the manner that it was acheived has to be pleasing .
We play significantly better against the top table sides , although looking at the way they tore through spurs defence we need to be at our very best for 90 minutes and not wait for the second half to get going
Just got back having stayed overnight. Both teams weren't great first half but we turned it on in the second and deserved the win. We were with the Fulham fans so had to be very very careful and not react when we scored. They weren't happy at the end.
Against a poor and going no where Utd side ,but you can only draw a game with whats put in front of you I suppose. Moyes will need a miracle ,they'll be lucky to get into the top 4 this year on that performance
Agree with that, and Fellaini was a big mistake for united, round peg in square hole, Manu will have to find their form of last season, looking very average without RVP!................... Spurs seem to be in trouble too, all that money spent, and no creativity, think AVB will be looking over his shoulder after that thumping!......... please log in to view this image
Spurs have spent the money form the jewel that was Bale , not wisely imo , too many new players in to short a time .They will improve but their not Champion material just yet.
Did Moyes underestimate Cardiff by resting RvP or was he injured ? We will see if he plays in the CL on Wednesday!
I kept think that Man U didn't play like that against us! For a top four side they were very ordinary. Rooney was the only one doing anything imo. Credit to Cardiff though because they deserved that - when is the luck going to run out?
Rooney should have been sent off early doors too. I don't think they were lucky yesterday, unlucky if anything and could have won if Utd had gone down to 10. Now, something that's starting to annoy me - Match Of The Day highlights editing. I realise they have to knock out the show in five or so hours, which can't be easy in itself, but.... from the highlights it seemed like a pretty even game and made Fulham look unlucky to lose! I think there was one mention in commentary about Swansea being on top in the second half. I watched online and we dominated second half apart from a very nervy last five minutes or so. I'm not sure we should have been the last game either but that's no biggie. Anyway, great three points and hopefully building confidence going forward. Although I wish we could start the second half before the first! Edit: My first comment could be wrong if I'm only judging from the highlights
Daimun - your first comment wasn't wrong mate - luck didn't come into it, if it did, we had bad luck not good. I was there and have watched it since - the game could have gone either way, but on balance we were well worth the point and all three certainly wouldn't have been an injustice. Luck eh Aussie - and Utd were ordinary were they? Perhaps we just made them look like that, but we understand you can't see it with your one eye. It's only "luck" when it goes Cardiff's way. Were we that lucky when Rooney stayed on after his idiotic thrash at Mutch? What about Campbell's brilliant chip that had De Gea beaten all ends up eh? Man U didn't have any luck then? I suppose you could say we were lucky that Medel stayed on after the slap he gave Fellaini, but did you notice the elbow in the face that Fellaini gave him just before he got the slap in retaliation? All in all a brilliant performance from a newly promoted Championship side to get a point from them after their recent good run of form, especially when compared to an experienced Premier side who lost 1 - 4 to them when it was apparently "the right time to play them" because of their manager change. On to the next one then - let's hope our "luck" holds out against Arsenal, because no doubt you wont need any at Man City - just a bloody miracle....
Not sure if you saw our game or not. But there was genuinely only one reason we lost that match, RVP. We dominated the game and dominated the chances created. It was just a few moments of brilliance from RVP that beat us that day. Fortunately for you, you didnt have to deal with that.
Just in case we've forgotten the thread title http://www.squawka.com/news/2013/11/25/post-match-fulham-1-2-swansea/2013112537999?
