    Ashley and Llambias' plan is so obvious. I've no doubt it'll work in the short term but it hardly shows long term ambition, does it.

    I'm sure Cabaye will be a good signing but there is no way he can replace Barton. Maybe he has the ability of Barton, but Bartons drive and commitment is vital and there is probably nobody out there who can match it.

    Please, please, please, be competition for Barton and not a replacement.

    last i heard was he wanted to speak to us don't know if they have given permission went a bit quiet.we do have a MLS player on trail when pre season (USA games) kicks off another midfielder <doh> someone call pappa <laugh> no doubt will live up to his name he's on the usual scouting network wiki/you tube i'm sure there is someone on here watches a bit of MLS so maybe they can shed some light on it
