he has already tried to leave , whats deluded about it .

I dont think any club would have to twist his arm too much do you ?

We should go all out to get Suarez. I would be so certain that we would win the Prem with him. Against Manure lastnight we missed that one classy CF. With the amount of chances we were creating in the second half, someone like Suarez would have capitalised, especially with those great crosses Sagna was pulling out with. Man if Bendy wasn't wearing those concrete boots, we would have pulled back at least one. Not dissing Giroud as he's played well this season but we really need cover for him, as he's going through a dip.

Giroud looked knackered. Tbf most of them did (not to mention the illness) and playing three tough teams while sick for the final 2 takes its toll. Giroud has done well but he can't do it all on his own

Exactly. Giroud has done well this season but asking for him to do it by himself is stretching it. Every top team has 1 or 2 CFs on the bench, we had an out of shape Bendy, who isn't exactly a world beater when fit. I know it'll be hard to get that big name player we all want in Jan, so some cover, even a loan move, is very neccessary for us.

The problem with getting a top forward in January is finding one who isn't cup-tied for the CL

I think our priority should be the Prem and getting some cover for the CF position is vital in my opinion. Getting a player on Giroud's level should be possible. I'd prefer Suarez but that could be a bit too hard this Jan window.

Exactly, 55mil would be the starting negotiation with a team outside of the UK, particularly if he keeps this form up. For a team in England, I imagine it would be going upwards of 60million and that's just for the ones that haven't p*ssed off Henry...

I think our best bet is a loan move for a striker in January. As mentioned, there are too many obstacles to overcome to sign a world class striker in the Jan window. We'll probably have to wait until summer for that. I'd rather we did that too, instead of signing somebody second rate in Jan just because we need a striker.

He'd be better off coming to top of the league Arsenal than Europey spot Utd <ok>

If the opportunity to sign a truly amazing striker comes up in January I say go for, be they cup tied or not (well, especially if not)! Such chances come few and far between and you can't afford to dither.

A few rumours going around that we might be interested in taking Edin Dzeko away from City. Worth it?

Two Giroud-esq players is better than just the man by himself! At the start of the season I'd have snapped your arm off for Dzeko but the way Giroud stepped up was better than I'd hoped for. Still, asking the man to maintain that level all season is unrealistic as is currently being shownn. If we were only to sign one striker then I'd want someone who offers something a bit different but I'd not say no to him as well!

Unlike Llorente he doesn't really have that many similarities to Giroud.

Dzeko is much better facing forward, for a tall player he runs very well with the ball in his feet and can take a shot from each side. (whereas Giroud tends to take his sweet time adjusting to his left)

They are both tall but their strong points are actually quite different.
