I don't know why, but I've just got a good feeling about this game.

Southampton have had some brilliant results / performances, but their bubble will pop and the draw at Stoke could be the start. They also have a long mid-week trip to Sunderland in the cup, so our lads should be fresher.

I think it's a very tough game. Both teams have some of the best defences in the prem, it'll be a battle of wits. Hopefully we can get a slice of luck.

After deserving and almost getting a draw at Spurs with our B-team I think Bruce and the boys will be going for this one.

His strategy of resting best larkers for the SAFC game paid off.

Surely he will do the same again with Palace at home the week after?

Saints away shouldn't be a game we write off though. Banking on winning against Palace is a a risky business and right now it's arguable whether yesterday's team played better than the team put out at Spurs last Sunday.

I had a feeling that we could nick something here too, but unfortunately whenever I have a good feeling about City's results, we lose (Peterborough, Barnsley, Bristol City and Watford last Season for example).

Both teams have solid defences, and it has a 0-0/1-0 written all over it.

Slight correction, Saints have the best defence in the league.
